Cookies & local storage
Last updated 22 July 2026
What this site stores in your browser, and why there is no cookie banner.
No banner, because there is nothing to consent to. We use no advertising cookies, no analytics and no third-party trackers. The only things we store are what the site needs to work: keeping you signed in, and holding the book you are designing.
What is stored
- Sign-in cookies — set by our sign-in provider, Clerk, to keep you logged in and to protect your account. Without these you would be signed out on every page.
- Your unsaved book — kept in
localStorage, not a cookie. This is what lets you design a whole book without an account, and lets you close the tab and come back. It never leaves your browser until you save. We clear it automatically once you have placed an order. - Rendered page images — cached in your browser (IndexedDB) so previews you have already seen appear instantly instead of being redrawn. Pictures only.
What is not stored
No advertising cookies. No analytics. No Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no session-recording tools, no cross-site tracking. We do not build a profile of you and we have nobody to sell one to.
Staying in control
You can clear cookies and site data at any time in your browser settings. Clearing them will sign you out and delete any unsaved book design, which we cannot recover — save anything you want to keep first.
To remove data we hold on our own servers, use Delete my data.
If this changes
If we ever add analytics or any non-essential cookie, we will update this page and ask for your consent first. Questions: elroumimarc@gmail.com.
